How can I become a member of Brandywine Business Network?
Before attending a meeting as a potential member we ask that you review our Members List to ensure your business does not conflict with an existing member's business. Brandywine Business Network only allows one member per business category.
Guests must attend (4) consecutive meetings before become eligible for membership.
Once the (4) consecutive meeting requirement has been met, the group's Member Advisors will hold a majority vote to determine whether the applicant is a good fit for the group. If approved, the applicant will be notified.
We realize this process is a little unusual, but we hope you agree it is way better than paying for membership.
Brandywine Business Network is an opportunity for business professionals, with exclusivity in their respective categories, to network weekly with and refer business to each other.
What happens if I can't attend 4 meetings in a row?
As a prospective member, if you miss meeting your attendance count resets. Note, until membership is established, the chosen business category remains open.
There are instances where the meeting is cancelled due to weather occurrences or a major holiday lands on Tuesday. In those situations, the prospective member's count is not affected.
Are there benefits to becoming a member?
Once you've become a member you get access to the below items:
Your business category is reserved
You can sign-up to do a 10-minute Member Spotlight presentation during one of our weekly meetings. There is not cost to do a presentation.
Your name and information gets added to all of the group's promotional materials (including this website).
Your business card gets added to the Business Card Binder for other members to retrieve.
You can add our logo to your website indicating active membership.
If you have a banner ad for your business it can be added to this site at no cost (are you sensing a pattern here?).
Members are invited to quarterly evening events hosted by local restaurants.
Can I advertise my business to the group members?
You are welcome to contact any of our members with advertising materials as long they have given you permission.
Members receive a weekly email that includes a meeting recap, information about upcoming events, and items like member promotions. Existing members can submit a promotion by going to Submit a Member Offer.
